Boasting a classic colour block design with laser blue, watermelon and university gold sections these Nike SB Blazer Mid Edge Shoes are a new footwear style for SS20 and include an array of custom details that bring a DIY look to the iconic silhouette. Durable canvas has been selected for the uppers and the hi-top silhouette provides protection around the ankle whilst the full length cotton lace up fastening sits on top of two tongues which add an unusual element to the design. The Dunk Low Pro tongue on the outer is completely detached for a customisable look. A typical detail of almost every Nike shoe, the famous Swoosh tick emblem has been torn off the outer side panel and positioned around the edge of the toe vamp in a shade of midnight navy with a beige coloured panel on top that connects to the lace fastening. On the inner panel a navy suede Swoosh tick has a more traditional look. The longer university red coloured tongue has an exposed foam top edge and branded woven labels wrap over the top edge of either tongue. Around the back of the heel a beige suede insert provides a background for bold embroidered ‘NIKE’ lettering.

Not only carrying a distinctive aesthetic these Blazer Mid Edge Shoes also include skate-focused details such as a foam sockliner with a Zoom Air unit in the heel for responsive cushioning and higher taping between the midsole and upper to aid a more consistent flick. Additional rubber has been added at high stress areas for durability including around the front of the toes and around the back of the heel whilst a gum herringbone outsole ensures a high level of grip. Encouraging customisation, each pair is accompanied by Swoosh tick stencils so you can add your own custom details to the design.
